To find out what you need to know about cannabis oil, keep reading.
Most people talk about cannabis as a loose term that applies to all species of the plant. However, there are many subtypes of Cannabis sativa that differ not only in their appearance, but their chemical structure too.
What is cannabis oil?
There are, of course, places where recreational and medicinal marijuana are allowed, but these scenarios are not the rule.
Cannabis oil is a type of concentrate that contains significant levels of THC. Although it can also contain other cannabinoids and terpenes, the primary appeal of cannabis oil is its psychotropic effect.
Cannabis oil is typically black, with a much thicker consistency compared to golden-grade CBD oil.
CBD is also known as cannabidiol, one of the many active ingredients found in the cannabis plant.
Typically the oil extracted this way doesn’t need as much post-processing, and no toxic solvents are used in the process either.
Once you have found a suitable level, you should maintain and not increase your intake levels.

The plant contains over 100 cannabinoids, these include CBD, CBDa, CBG and THC, and these compounds give both its therapeutic and psychoactive (in the case of THC) effects. By not over-processing the oil, more of these natural compounds are retained in the resulting CBD oil.
