usage instructions for rabbits:

With animals, the protocol is 1 drop per pound. So for a 6 pound rabbit, 1 drop is plenty. Nothing bad happens if your rabbit has more than 1 or 2 drops, but they will not absorb that much at one time. Like cats, rabbits metabolize at a faster rate than humans, so your rabbit can technically receive a drop every two orders. One drop in the morning and one drop at night on their vegetables or a Cheerio will give them great results.

Bottles are 1ml (month supply for a human), so 1 bottle goes a long way for a bun!

Please contact us if you have any questions about using UltraCell for your bun.

why is Zilis UltraCell so much better than other cbd oils?

CBD oil is everywhere: from gas stations to drug stores. The problem is, do you know the quality of the oil you’re putting in you or your pet’s body? And is it even being absorbed enough to make a difference? You could be wasting your money.

Developed by the prominent Dr. Derek DeSilva, Zilis UltraCell Full-Spectrum Hemp Oil is the gold standard of hemp oil for several reasons:

Certified USDA Organic – no chemicals at ALL in the process of extracting the oil from the hemp plant – we use a CO2 extraction method.

0.0% THC – not only will humans NOT fail a drug test taking UltraCell, but your rabbit will not benefit from the THC as much as the cannibinoids in the oil, so this is good news! Most other hemp oils contain up to 0.3% THC which is allowed by the FDA – THC stores up in fat cells over time, which leads to a failed drug test for humans. 0.0% THC is maintained by Zilis because every batch is tested, and only the male hemp plant is used (it’s the female plant that has the majority of the THC).

85-94% Absorption – A test done specifically with UltraCell by the Mayo Clinic shows extremely high absorption as compared to other hemp oils which can claim only 3-6% absorption. This is because UltraCell has a patent pending technology by Dr. DeSilva that allows your body to more fully absorb UltraCell even though it’s an oil. This ensures that you truly get the value for your money!

Full-Spectrum Oil – has all the minerals, vitamins, omegas, proteins, flavonoids, terpenes and of course, cannabinoids that ensure your body experiences maximum results.

CBD Oil For Rabbits

If you have a pet rabbit, you are probably well aware of their delicate natures. Rabbits are prey animals, and as such they can have severe anxiety, so much so they can even die from a fright. They also fall ill to many of the other issues common in other pets, such as seizures, arthritis, and other painful conditions.

Top breeders and rabbit rescues are recommending the use of CBD to help rabbits with many of these medical problems.[1] These experienced rabbit owners are experimenting with CBD largely on their own, as vets are not able to recommend CBD in the location they live at due to the present taboo on this helpful drug.

If you have a rabbit who is prone to seizures, anxiety, or pain, cbd oil for rabbits may be a helpful resource to you. Rabbits are considered an exotic animal, and because of this there aren’t a large amount of veterinarians to help treat your rabbit, if vets are available in the area at all.

CBD can be used in any animal that has an endocannabanoid system. That’s almost any animal, with the exception of instects. If you’ve heard about the powerful effects of using the best cbd oil for dogs in your other furry friends, rest assured CBD isn’t just for dogs. Rabbits can use CBD oil too, as well as many other different kinds of pet.

Choosing A CBD Oil For Your Rabbit

Rabbits are small animals, so it is more important than ever to pick a quality CBD oil for your pet. Due to lack of regulation, there can be a huge fluctuation in quality from brand to brand. In order to protect your pet from harmful impurities, you should research the CBD brand you plan to use before trying it on your rabbit.

Signs of a quality brand include sourcing the plants used for CBD from the USA, and third party testing of their finished oil for purity. Take your time researching the brand, and remember—you get what you pay for. If you see a brand priced too good to be true—it may be diluted or mixed with an oil inappropriate for rabbits. Ahimsa Pets makes sure to meet all the set guidelines to create the best CBD oil. It’s all-natural, lab tested, Colorado grown, and the best quality!

Correct Dosage Of CBD Oil For Rabbits

If you think CBD oil is the right choice for your pet, the next step is to find the right dosage of CBD oil. CBD is typically dosed by weight, and the standard dosage is 0.25mg per pound of body weight. It’s best to start with a low amount of CBD oil, and then gradually increase the dosage if no improvements are seen within a week. It’s easiest to mix CBD oil into your rabbit’s food in order to ensure they get all of the medication.

When your rabbit is suffering from severe anxiety, seizures, or pain, you may feel at a loss as to what to do. There aren’t very many rabbit vets out there, and many of them charge exorbitant fees for looking at your ‘exotic’ pet. CBD oil can be a good remedy to help you give your pet relief in their time of need, especially when other help isn’t available.
